01About Unika
Is Unika an agency from Sao Paulo or from Joao Pessoa?
Both. Agencia Unika has bases in Sao Paulo and Joao Pessoa and serves brands across Brazil. The team works remotely by choice, and the two bases serve as in person meeting points whenever a project calls for it.
What does "We create. We connect. We convert." mean?
It is Unika's signature and it sums up the order of the work: create strategy and communication, connect the brand to the right audience and convert that into business results. In practice, the agency thinks about the client's business before thinking about the creative piece, and measures its work by the needle it moves, not by the volume of deliverables.
How is Unika different from a performance agency or a content studio?
Unika is a full marketing and advertising agency with strategy at the center. A performance agency runs paid media; a content studio delivers pieces. Unika does both, but from its own planning framework, the 3 P's method, which brings presence, performance and planning into a single plan. It does not sell posts, stories and paid traffic as menu items.
Is Unika independent? Is it part of a group?
Yes, it is 100% independent. Founded in 2012, Unika does not belong to any communications group. That gives it the freedom to build the right team and partners for each project, with no obligation to use a group's internal structure.
Who leads Unika?
Thiago Lima, founder and CEO. He has run the agency since 2012 and remains at the front of client strategy.
02How the work happens
What is the 3 P's method?
It is Unika's own method, with three layers that work together. Presence: making the brand visible every day, with organic social media, email marketing and CRM, internal communication and offline materials. Performance: building traction and reach, with strategic paid media, influencers and partnerships, out of home and digital screens. Planning: moving the business needle, with campaigns and key retail dates, trade marketing and promotions, brand diagnosis and strategy. The three overlap in the right order with a single goal: business results. See the method.
What does the first contact with Unika look like?
It starts with a free diagnosis, with no strings attached. The company fills in a short brief on the website, with name, company, role, contact, budget range and main challenge, and someone from the team replies within one business day to set up the conversation. You can also reach out directly on WhatsApp or by email at atendimento@agenciaunika.com.br.
Does Unika work remotely or in person?
Remotely by choice, with physical bases in Sao Paulo and Joao Pessoa. The team is lean and distributed, which keeps the agency agile. Meetings, presentations and in person sessions happen whenever a project calls for it.
03Investment
How much does it cost to hire Unika?
It depends on the scope and the size of the company, and it is defined after the free diagnosis. Unika does not work from a price list of standalone services: the monthly investment follows the size of the challenge and is generally proportional to the company's revenue. The agency's clients typically have annual revenue above R$10 million.
04Industries and results
What kind of company does Unika serve?
Brands with an in house marketing structure and annual revenue above R$10 million, across varied industries: food, beverage and nutrition (Catupiry, Pabst Blue Ribbon, DUX), health and pharmaceuticals (Biogen), retail and shopping centers (Shopping Cidade Sao Paulo), industry and construction (Votorantim Cimentos), among others. More than 60 clients served over 14 years.
Does Unika work with the pharmaceutical industry?
Yes. Unika created and ran the Juntos Pela Ataxia campaign for Biogen, raising awareness of Friedreich's ataxia around a professional football match. The campaign reached 2.6 million people, earned national media coverage and led to a bill being drafted in congress.
Does Unika do trade marketing for food and beverage brands?
Yes, it is one of its strengths. For Catupiry, the cross media campaign Fofocas de Familia took 3rd place at the ABEMD 2025 awards. For Pabst Blue Ribbon, the guerrilla activation at the NFL game in Brazil reached 27 million people worldwide. For DUX, the Protein Bar launch with CRM generated R$2 million in orders within the first 4 hours.
Which awards has Unika won?
Five national awards: four at Digital Awards BR and 3rd place at the ABEMD 2025 awards, with the Fofocas de Familia campaign for Catupiry.
What results has Unika delivered?
A few numbers from the cases: 2.6 million people reached and a bill drafted with Biogen; 27 million reached with Pabst Blue Ribbon at the NFL; R$2 million in orders within 4 hours at the DUX launch; 3rd place ABEMD 2025 with Catupiry; over 2 million reached and over 50 thousand new followers in the seasonal campaigns for Shopping Cidade Sao Paulo. 05Who Unika is not for
What kind of client is Unika not a good fit for?
Companies with annual revenue below R$10 million. It is not about size for its own sake: Unika's work requires a minimum marketing structure on the client side, with people to discuss, approve and follow the strategic plans. Below that size, the cost and time spent supporting the client's team tend to outweigh the return, for both sides. The monthly investment in the agency is also a direct reflection of the annual revenue of the companies that work with Unika.
